Two Students Present Legislative Bill to State Senator Stanley St. Mary's Episcopal School Last spring, Ana Marinovic and Ramie Mansberg wrote a legislative bill in connection with the Middle School Youth Legislature program. Their bill requires all Tennessee counties with population densities greater than 30 people per square mile to install and maintain warning sirens. In the course of their research, they called all 99 counties in Tennessee to see what current practices were. On August 6, 2008, Marinovic and Mansberg, now high-school freshmen, presented their bill to State Senator Paul Stanley at his Memphis office. Senator Stanley asked questions and gave the girls some great real-life feedback about the bill they created. Good work, Ana and Ramie!
