Condoleezza Rice, who served as Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, is giving GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain some unsolicited and free advice: \u201cDon\u2019t play the race card\u201d in what looks like a game of high stakes poker with the national media.<\/p>\n
\u201cI actually am someone who doesn\u2019t believe in playing the race card on either side,\u201d Rice said in an interview on CBS\u2019 \u201cThe Early Show\u201d that aired on Wednesday. I\u2019ve seen it played, by the way, on the other side quite a lot too. And it\u2019s not good for the country.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cain has been under intense pressure since Monday when Politico wrote a story saying that two former female employees who worked under him when he was the head of the National Restaurant Association had left the group with a severance package and confidentially clause in an agreement over sexual harassment charges levied at Cain.<\/p>\n
Cain initially denied any knowledge of the incidents, but has slowly recovered is memory and is now recalling tidbits of information as the story continues to unfold.<\/p>\n
