This is nothing new. As you may recall, Mitt Romney had to address his Mormon faith during the 2008 Republican primary. Whether he likes it or not, he\u2019s getting another shot this go around too. After introducing Texas Gov. Rick Perry at the conference Friday, Ron Jeffers, a Southern Baptist pastor, called Mormonism, a \u201ccult\u201d in an interview with reporters later in the day. To say it created a bit of controversy is an understatement. I\u2019m not going to go into the issue of whether Mormonism \u2013 also known as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints \u2013 is or isn\u2019t a cult here.
